Compiled by the band themselves, this 30-track 'best of', packaged in a beautiful gatefold sleeve and pressed on purple and white vinyl, showcases so well what is so cherished by fans, and what is all too often forgotten about The Undertones. Formed in 1973 (the same year as the Ramones), the Derry five-piece had it all: killer riffs, Feargal Sharkey's razor-sharp vocal, and songs that could go far beyond the distance. Including recordings from the first four Undertones albums, few punk-rock collections are as gutsy and bursting with self-confidence.
