Long Hair In Three Stages is the debut album from Chicago s U.S. Maple. Recorded in 1995 by Jim O Rourke at Solid Sound Studios, it was Jim s first legitimate recording session with a rock band, and he had a cold. Today, the ex-pat is an esteemed and highly sought-after producer. The recording was originally released on both CD and vinyl, the latter packaged in handmade aluminum jackets. That edition of 1,000 LPs sold out during its first week of release, and became a super-rare collector s edition that fetches ridiculous prices. This new limited edition vinyl reissue will bring the price back down to earth for those who missed out the first time around!
