Torres comes through with an LP full of quietly experimental indie pop in the vein of Wild Beasts, Zola Jesus and St. Vincent. The songwriting is as strong as anything on MacKenzie Scott’s previous two LPs, and the production from Rob Ellis (PJ Harvey) is pretty and detailed.
