Welcome to Woodberry Down is a collection of songs about the eponymous North London housing estate. Singer/lyricist Ben Brill's family were among Woodberry Down's first residents in 1950. Dubbed the estate of the future, and built on land that had previously been the preserve of the wealthy, Woodberry Down's social homes were emblematic of a new post war optimism.
