The Weeknd, aka Abel Tesfaye, is surely the most prominent breakthrough artist globally of the past 12 months, having notched up four monstrous hit singles and the hugely acclaimed 2-million-selling (RIAA Double Platinum) album ‘Beauty Behind The Madness’ which entered both the Billboard and UK album charts at Number 1.
