The Puppini Sisters are back with a brand new album! ‘The Highlife’ is released March 11th and features a combination of their own arrangements of classics from the Thirties to the Fifties (Tico Tico, Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive), jazzy reinventions of pop hits (Changes, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun), and self-penned original songs including the first single Is This The High Life.

The Puppini Sisters premiered a selection of the album’s songs at several individual sell-out shows around the world at the end of last year to ecstatic acclaim and saw, amongst others, their versions of Missy Elliot’s Work It and a mash up of Rappers Delight and Sia’s Chandelier bring the house down!

So to coincide with ‘The Highlife’ album The Puppini Sisters - Marcella Puppini, Kate Mullins and Emma Smith - will be touring the UK. Kicking off first in Gateshead at the Sage 2 on Thursday 3rd March 2016 and travelling across the country throughout the month before playing London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Thursday May 18th.

In the eight years since their inception, The Puppini Sisters have received accolades from fans as disparate as Prince Charles, Michael Bublé and Cyndi Lauper, have been awarded Gold and Multi-Platinum discs, have performed on iconic stages all over the world and have collaborated with “banging” Electro-Swing groups as well as traditional orchestras.

The new album, their fifth, was funded completely by a Pledge campaign (www.pledgemusic.com/projects/thepuppinisisters) and was produced by Fred DeFaye with musical arrangements and original compositions by Marcella Puppini and Kate Mullins.
