Pompous, atmospheric indie rock and tremendous emotions from the Antlers! The Antlers are back with album number five! In June, the new work of the New York Trio on Transgressive/[PIAS] Cooperative will be released with " Familiars". What initially began as a solo project by Peter Silberman now consists of a fixed band structure. Darby Cicci and Michael Lerner complete the musical trio and thus perfectly expanded the musical diversity of the band. Four years after the great Burst Apart"; the new Antler work is now being released. The material was recorded and produced in the band's studio in Brooklyn. As a blender, the band was standing by Chris Coady (Yeah Yeah Yeah, Beach House). With " Familiars" The Antlers prove once again that they know how to build their songs from quiet, intimate moments to large, spherical and complex sound structures like no other band. A wealth of emotion, embedded in a captivating mix of guitars, brass, electronic sprinkles and always carried by Peter Silberman's concise falset-up vocals.
