Some musicians retreat to a cabin in the woods to write a new album, and others try on a new city. For Julian Karlsson, who makes music as Selmer, he didn't have to go far to write his debut album: his bathroom. Selmer specifically relies on his shower as a space to sort through his thoughts which, inevitably, transform into melodies. The Oslo based singer, songwriter, and guitarist captured his mid-bathing introspections and expanded them into the eight songs that make up Body Wash, his debut album.
