This is a Record Store Day 2018 item. Please Note we will only fulfil one of each item per customer. This 7” is a replica of Saxon’s 1981 single ‘Princess Of The Night’ taken from their seminal ‘Denim And Leather’ album. Inspired by the name of a steam train, the song is the band's most listened to track on Spotify at 8 million streams and is still a live favourite to this day. In Kerrang’s first issue in 1981, vocalist Biff Byford explained. "Some time ago we used to park our van at Barry Island in Glamorgan. There's a huge compound there where they keep all the old steam trains that they don't use anymore. They're just left to rot and I suppose that upset us because they really were magnificent machines. Well you can't beat the days of steam can you?"
