Pneumatic Tubes is the project of Jesse Chandler who, if you've been paying attention, has played with the big boy likes of Mercury Rev and Midlake. For this solo project he holed up in his old family home and wrote pieces inspired by the passing of his father. It's beautiful, grandiose, orchestral music which (as you can tell from that typeface and graphic design) is being unleashed by Ghost Box on heavyweight vinyl.
