Though Norah Jones was first presented as a torch-oriented jazz singer, that has always been only a part of her musical skill set. Even her monster debut single, "Don't Know Why," features a piano solo that owes more to the sweet Nashville sounds of Floyd Cramer than to Bill Evans.
