My Dying Bride has been one of the foremost & consistent leading lights in doom metal since their debut album "As The Flower Withers" was released on Peaceville Records back in 1992. Influenced by acts such as Celtic Frost & Candlemass, the band's heavy atmospherics have carved a huge worldwide following over the years to stand at the pinnacle of the genre & remain one of the most instantly distinguishable metal bands.

My Dying Bride released three albums & as many EP's before launching the massive opus 'Like Gods Of The Sun' in 1996, as the band's popularity was hitting a high point in the wake of successful touring with fellow British Metal heroes Iron Maiden, on the back of the previous breakthrough release, the equally revered 'The Angel & the Dark River'.
