A Can Of Mind And A Tin Of Think So is a project celebrating the family archive of the legendary Dundonian singer, songwriter, artist and actor Michael Marra.

As part of the project, this 200-page hardback, full colour book focuses on Michael’s archive of artworks and handwritten songs. The book gathers in voices of 14 writers connected by a shared song, story, love and life - Val McDermid, Jim Crumley, Anna Newell, Brian Cox, Frank Gilfeather, Lesley Riddoch, Andrew Wasylyk, Lorraine Wilson, Loudon Wainwright III , Martin McCardie, Phill Jupitus, Roddy Woomble, Saint Andrew, Gerry Hassan and Liz Lochhead. 

The book was produced for release by DoJ City Audio Print Publishing, University of Dundee, in conjunction with Assai Records.
