The album marks the second collaborative work between Jenny Hval and Håvard Volden as Lost Girls. It follows 2021's 'Menneskekollektivet' debut, a work which won plaudits from across the musical spectrum. On full show is the pair's typically a-typical songcraft, one which melds surrealist pop with electronic production, psychedelic moods, nods to folk, 90s indie, and dance music, and the occasional spoken word vocal.
