'I Hear a New World' stands as one of the earliest and most visionary electronic albums ever recorded. Conceived in 1960 by legendary British producer Joe Meek, the album was intended as a "musical fantasy" depicting life on the moon. Collaborating with The Blue Men—a group of session musicians including Rod Freeman, Ken Harvey, and Roger Fiola—Meek crafted a suite of surreal, space-themed compositions using innovative studio techniques and homemade effects. Though only a four-track EP was released at the time, the full album remained unreleased until 1991. This Wah Wah Records reissue presents the complete work, remastered and housed in a meticulously reproduced sleeve, offering listeners a glimpse into Meek's pioneering sonic imagination.
