In 2018, the Hollywood Vampires took to the prestigious Montreux stage, bringing their mix oftheatrical rock, classic covers, and original songs to one of the most renowned festivals in the world. The set moves through a tight, high-energy track list of around 90 minutes, combining fan favorites, deep cuts, and tributes to some of the band’s biggest influences. The show leans heavily into the Vampires’ core idea: revisiting songs by legendary artists alongsidetheir own material, played with a raw, live feel rather than overproduced polish. Highlights includetheir take on tracks by rock icons of the past as well as standout moments that showcase the band’schemistry on stage. The live album also features several cover versions including “I Got a Line on You” (Spirit), “7 and 7Is” (Love), and “People Who Died” (The Jim Carroll Band), as well as it pays tribute to some of thebiggest names in rock, with versions of The Who’s “Baba O’Riley”, David Bowie’s “Heroes”, AC/DC’s“The Jack”, and Aerosmith’s “Sweet Emotion” plus cover versions that had not previously beenreleased by Hollywood Vampires, including a standout rendition of Motörhead’s “Ace of Spades” as atribute to Lemmy.
