Combining horny grot with dancefloor abandon, this randy electronic supergroup ride deep throbs, pneumatic beats, and elevating vocals along a wonky line from Detroit, through Chicago to Croydon, Paris, and Berlin.

Inspired by a trip to Berlin’s legendary Berghain night club - a place where the sort of prurient exploits not seen since the hedonistic days of the Roman empire unfold over consecutive nights and days of submission to repetitive beats - Fat White’s Lias Saoudi decided to dive deep into the transcendental and eviscerating world of electronic music.

Teaming up with members of Paranoid London, Warmduscher,and the minds behind Trashmouth Records, the crew now known as Decius set about carving out a record of bacchanalian house music that goes long into the morning. Bringing in elements of mucky techno, seedy electro, and a whole plethora of other influences into the pumping pot, Vol. II (Splendour & Obedience) captures a mood and a feeling of impending excitement that catches ears and inspires involuntary movement every time we spin this on the shop floor.

It might have snuck under a few people’s radars but this licentious soundtrack to gleeful debauchery is going to keep giving for years and years to come.
