French jazz funk heroes Cotonete are back with their second LP, on which the 8-piece combo deliver heavy grooves with prestigious guest vocals from Omar, Leron Thomas, Sabrina Malheiros and Gystere, deluxe vinyl packaging with heavy cardboard gatefold cover printed in Finland and double 180g vinyl. They have enlisted the French producer Guts to guide them towards sunshine, groove, warmth and all the colours in his rainbow. With their tongues firmly in their cheeks, the album is titled 'Victoire de la Musique' - a dig at the annual French music award ceremony.
