Blue Room: The 1979 VARA Studio Sessions in Holland features two recordings of trumpet/vocal icon Chet Baker captured in glorious stereo at the legendary VARA studio 2 in Hilversum, the Netherlands for the KRO radio program Nine O’Clock Jazz.

Remastered audio transferred from the original tape reels. Includes and extensive booklet with photos from Veryl Oakland, Christian Rose, Jean-Pierre Leloir and others; essays by Dutch jazz scholar Jeroan De Valk; plus interviews with Randy Brecker, Enrico Rava, Enrico Pieranunzi and many others.
