Recorded in Los Angeles over Valentine's Day weekend 2025, in the wake of the horrific fires - Ghost of American Psychonauts showcases songs from the (at the time) recently released album The Purple Bird along with various nuggets from the Bonnie Prince Billy songbook, performed by a stellar band comprised of Emmett Kelly (bass), Ryder McNair (piano), Dv DeVincentis (sax), London May (drums), Thomas Deakin (guitar, clarinet), Patrick Shiroishi (sax) and Jacob Duncan (sax). Dave Ferguson (who produced The Purple Bird) sings on "Downstream."
