Recorded in 1978 at the Universal Amphitheater in Los Angeles, The Blues Brothers stunned the audience with a blistering performance that became their debut album Briefcase Full Of Blues and launched the band into fame. The Blues Brothers included the late great John Belushi and Dan Akroyd (until then only known as comedians on Saturday Night Live) backed with a stellar band of A-list R & B/blues legends like Steve Cropper and Duck Dunn from Booker T. & The M.G.'s, keyboardist Paul Shafer, saxophone legend Tom Scott, and Chess Records sideman Matt "Guitar " Murphy.
