They cooperated to release the latest Blue Note Trip on vinyl in conjunction with the CD release ('Blue Note Trip Vol 10 Late Nights' MOVLP 580 and 'Blue Note Trip Vol 10 Early Mornings' MOVLP 581), and now they are going back to the roots of this essential compilation series. DJ Maestro dug deep into the Blue Note catalogue to come up with this gem of a trip, with Minnie Riperton, Donald Byrd, Buddy Rich and St. Germain ready to shake your shoes on 'Saturday Night' (MOVLP 574), and Bobbi Humphrey, Dianne Reeves, Gary Bartz and Nancy Wilson s dulcet tones sweetly awakening you on 'Sunday Morning' (MOVLP 575).
