Unlike its sibling record, Ny Medicin, Endless Autumn is synth-poppy, indie-rocking and actually sometimes a little punk-gothic. However, always just as sensitive, regardless of song orientation and regardless of influence, always wrapped in Konie's typical dreamy fragility. The arrangements are gorgeous, filled with choppy staccato guitars, eighties synth arpeggios and indie-disco beats. The vocals are fragile and insinuating and the obvious pop melodies are always there underneath and behind. Simply a blindingly brilliant pop record whose brittle nature and intellectual quirkiness make it anything but a flash in the pan.
