How long does it take to process an order?

The following are estimated processing and delivery times. We make every effort to fulfill orders as quickly as possible. Please understand we are a team of humans, working with human hands, and human brains. We aren't perfect but we do our very best at all times. 

If the stock is located in one of our shops or we are awaiting restocks, processing times may be longer and impact delivery times.

Processing

Order processing takes place during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. please allow 1-2 days for processing. Orders received after midday will begin being processed the following business day.

Shipping

We ship both domestically (in the UK) and to a select number of international destinations. Shipping times depend on your location in the UK, Ireland and the Islands. If you live down the street from us in Dundee, you'll get it faster than if you live in Cornwall. The Royal Mail site quotes, but does not guarantee, 2-14 business days for domestic delivery. International shipping is longer.

We do not ship to known mail forwarding addresses in the UK due to a high risk of Fraudulent transactions.

If a package can't be delivered due to an error entering your shipping address, HTS (Scotland) Limited t/a Assai Records is not responsible for any additional fees that may incur in order to reroute or reship the package.

You, the customer, are responsible for all taxes and duties (including VAT) imposed by your country of residence or the country in which the package is received, we pay sales VAT on goods in the UK where appropriate and refunds are not provided by us for VAT liabilities in other countries.

Shipping Costs

We offer free shipping on orders shipped over the value of *£50 to UK addresses using a Tracked 48 Hour Service or DHL for higher value items such as Turntables.

Collect instore - orders (of any value) can be collected from one of our shops in Dundee or Edinburgh at no cost additional shipping cost.

Reserve For Future Shipping Over £50 - this is a free shipping option to combine orders for future shipping when combined value is over £50 - this only applies to UK addresses.

Record Store Day 2024 - Free shipping is over £100

After 18 years of experience sending vinyl records, we do our very best to get orders to you in the best possible condition, on occassion the carriers may miss-handle parcel which is out of our control. Please bear in mind, minor sleeve damage is not insured or compensated for damage in transit.
