The album is based on the book of the Bible in which a man questions the existence of God and wonders why God can watch as his country fell apart. Group leader BJ Barnum sees many parallels between this story and the state of his country now. The album is about religion, politics, love, addiction and all of the things that can break people and how to find a way back.
