"Years" is Austin ban Sun June's breezy summer debut album. Labeled "regret pop," these 10 indie-pop songs were recorded to tape and have a nostalgic, analog warmth to them. Laura Colwell and Stephen Salisbury formed the band while working long hours in director Terrence Malick's editing rooms, practicing in the office whenever Malick was out of town. "Years" is a 'we've-been-broken-up-a-long-time' record. Layered vocals, tasteful guitar lines, and driving rhythms.
