Every now and then artists appear that want to define something - The contemporary - A feeling - A way to get through everything - Agitator is just such a band, which does not shy away from grandiose statements and gestures. Agitator is a classic band, which met like a classic band does: friends hanging out in a group. Their songs move in all possible directions, organically pulsating. The band itself refers to Joy Division, 22-Pisterpirkko, Kingston, techno and EBM but sounds maybe more like a bastard to Shame and Birthday Party combined with a perfect attitude and melodies. Agitator was formed in autumn 2021 by five seventeen-year-olds at the same high school. They are now 19 and just graduated. They come from Stockholm and operate in Stockholm and rehearse on Kungsholmen where you can take a nice walk from Sodermalm by the canal.
