There could only really be one choice for our album of the week this week – Dundee icons The View’s ace fourth studio album “Cheeky for a Reason”.
Long out of print on vinyl, this is an album we’re asked for at the shop on a weekly basis, one that has taken on near mythical quality due to its physical scarcity! This vinyl reissue has reminded us just how great a record “Cheeky for a Reason” was.
Opening with the inescapably catchy live favourite “How Long” and featuring one of the bands most delicate and treasured moments “Tacky Tattoo” - it’s a consistent and dynamic listen from a band maturing and showing that there is more to them than just that chaotic first impression. “Cheeky for a Reason” was.
