Zarro Version - Wayne Smith\u0026amp;Prince Jammy\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e'Zarro' was the first studio recording of the late Jamaican singer Wayne Smith, who would become the voice of dancehall's digital revolution with 'Under Mi Sleng Teng' in 1985. This 1980 recording for producer Prince Jammy, who also produced 'Sleng Teng', uses the same backing track as Lacksley Castell's 'What A Great Day', also available on 7-inch (VPGS7107). Smith's version has never been previously released prior to this 7-inch 45 single and only occasionally heard on Jammy's soundsystem in Jamaica.
