Recorded in 1997 and never officially released at the time,'Galdersång Till Bergfadern' laid the foundation for much of what would become'Älvefärd', several tracks were later re-recorded for that full-length. Here the melodies are ancient, the rhythms untamed, and the group already locked in on their own language of Scandinavian Folk and Metal. You can hear the roots of violin, flute and lute dancing with guitar and voice, all pushing forward into territory only Otyg could define.
