Behind GÖRL are two pioneers ofelectronic music: DAF legend Robert Görl and influential DJ and producer Sylvie Marks.Robert Görl founded the legendary post-punk group Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft (DAF) in 1978. With radicallyreduced, iconic sequences, brutalistic drums, and provocative aesthetics, DAF achieved timeless hits such as “DerMussolini.” Sylvie Marks, on the other hand, was the first and only female resident DJ at the legendary Frankfurt clubDorian Gray.
