When Alicia attended his memorial gathering shortly after his passing in 2025, she was struck by the depth of the relationships in that space. As those in the room spoke of their shared experience that David was still among them - directing from beyond - Alicia became ever more aware that she was being encouraged to create an album from this space of eternal unconditional love. ‘Use my name,’ David whispered.
