Blighted by a series of personal tragedies, the band just kind of “fell away” into different lives and projects as the final mixes were being completed. A very limited number of homemade mock-ups of the album escaped to do the rounds locally for a bit and it was also once bootlegged and posted out to various countries in a blank sleeve, claiming to be the world’s first ever “chain album”. But other than that, these tracks could only be found in extremely low-bit quality, lurking in the bleak, damp corners of now defunct internet streaming sites of that time.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto;\" class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eFor its 25\u003csup\u003eth \u003c\/sup\u003eanniversary year (or 26\u003csup\u003eth\u003c\/sup\u003e - depending on when you’re counting from), “Thick as Pop” has been remastered for both vinyl and CD formats at ESKO STUDIOS in Finland by their long-time friend and collaborator, Robin Sutherland.
